Rich Crook (of Memphis legends the Lost Sounds, the Reatards, Knaughty Knights, etc.) phones it in from Chicago, IL. Slowly working his way out from behind the garage/trash drum kit, Lover! is Rich's own full-fledged POP band. Pure badass power-pop heaven, sounding more like Big Star at the end of the line or a more coherent Guided By Voices than it does any of his previous projects. With a barrage of releases on labels all over the world so far, Rich is finally starting to get his rightful due stateside. Everyone wants a piece, and lucky for all of us there's more than enough to go around. Whatever this dude bleeds, sweats, or cries is catchier than hell, and we're not talking communicable diseases here, dig!
