Talented multi-instrumentalists Collette Savard and her partner, producer John Zytaruk (Buck 65, Leah Salomaa, William & Polly, Milie Croche, etc.), phone it in from Toronto, ON. Painting with a broad palette (a kitchen-ful of instruments, almost none of which they play twice), Collette deftly combines folk, jazz, pop, and her Franco-Ontarian heritage into a complete and evocative picture, as calming as it is compelling. Great, great stuff- the lady's got the goods!
